In the opening bout of last nights “Strikeforce: Houston” Showtime broadcast, former WWE star Bobby Lashley suffered a TKO loss to Chad Griggs. Lashley suffered a cut under his left eye earlier in the fight and appeared exhausted after the loss.

Lashley was then taken to hospital on a stretcher where he was kept overnight and treated for dehydration according to PWTorch.com.

Lashley was said to be “extremely dehydrated” after his fight against Chad Griggs on the “Showtime: Houston” fight card. At the hospital, Lashley was treated with multiple IV bags to pump fluids back into his system.

Shortly after his loss to Griggs, Lashley left the Toyota Center on a stretcher. He was taken to a local hospital where it was believed that he was being treated for a severe laceration around his left eye.

“Bobby Lashley actually went to the hospital and I think he went to get his eye stitched up,” Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker said at the post-show press conference when asked about Lashley’s status.

Fellow wrestling star “Booker T” say’s his friend has a lot more work to do as a mixed martial artist.
