Brett “The Grim” Rogers (11-2) erased a two fight losing streak on Saturday night, earning a unanimous decision over opponent Reuben Villareal at the W1 New Ground event in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

The Strikeforce heavyweight, who had dropped bouts to Alistair Overeem and Fedor Emelianenko in his two losses, wasn’t pleased with his performance or conditioning against Villareal.

Rogers fought for a full three rounds, a first in his career, earning a unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) in the fight.
