Central Canada’s premier cage fighting event returns on September 7 as Xtreme Cage Wars (XCW) presents XCWFC 50 – “Redemption” in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada with 13 exciting bouts and three title fights scheduled. XCW is a breeding ground for the international promotions and “Redemption” will showcase some of the rising mixed martial artists soon to hit the national scene.

In the main event, for the XCWFC Lightweight Championship, Dauda Keita (4-0) takes on Rodney McNabb (5-1-1). Keita is the reigning champion and is known for his grappling. Keita has never been beaten but this will be his toughest test to date. Both fighters will look to take the center of the cage early on in the fight and establish the tone for the fight. This should be a wild fight between two fighters who are going to claw tooth and nail as they battle for the 155 lb title.

In the co-main event, the vacant XCWFC Middleweight Championship will be decided as Evander Masuskapoe (2-2-3) fights an opponent TBA soon. Stuart Fontaine was the scheduled opponent, but a torn rotator cuff has put him on the shelf and XCW looks to find a suitable replacement for this title fight. Masuskapoe, he is a heavy handed fighter who won in 13 seconds earlier this year to record one of the fastest knockouts in MMA history. He will look to catch lightening in a bottle twice and make it a short night for whoever he faces in the ring.

In the final title fight of the evening for the vacant XCWFC Featherweight Championship, Roddy Busler (6-8-1) faces Ashton Ledoux (3-0). Busler fights with a high risk style as he is always going for the homerun and often times finds himself in compromising positions on the canvas, but it is this same exciting style that has made him a fan favorite because his fights are always exciting as they usually are up for fight of the night. The undefeated Ledoux has wins to his credit via first round stoppage and has shown in the past that he is proficient on the ground and in standup. This should be a bout fans won’t want to blink.

“Epic Fighting 14″ returns on the GFL Combat Sports Network on September 8 at 4th & B in San Diego, California. For their latest card, Epic Fighting has collected some of the deepest local talent in the country to provide the fans of SoCal and worldwide watching live on the Internet, a great night of action with 20-scheduled amateur fights.

In the main event, it will be a heavyweight throwdown as Keishaun Hill (2-0) from Victory MMA battles JR Lugo (2-0-1) from Fighterz Corner in bout that will be a loss for the first time for one of these heavy hitters. Hill’s wins have all come via TKO and he likes to take the fight to his opponent by opening up on them at the start of the fight. The 6’3″ Hill only knows one speed and that’s full blast. Lugo also holds 2 KO victories and is almost a mirror image of Hill. Standing at 6′ even, Lugo is a bit more compact and uses his strength in both hands to go head hunting from the get-go. This fight is bound to have fireworks.

In the co-main event, Bobby Brown (0-1) from Solo fights Jerry France (0-0) from Team Hammerhead and Pikes Peak Combat Sports in a cruiserweight bout with a weight limit of 230 lb. Brown is coming off a hard fought loss earlier this year and looks to score the first win of his career against the debuting France. France comes into the fight as an unknown commodity and should have a bit of an advantage there as far as game plan wise to go off set Brown’s experience advantage. This bout is an evenly matched fight and offers both fighters an opportunity to show the crowd how well-rounded their MMA skills are.

You won’t find more BANG for your buck so order this thrilling event. Watch the stars of tomorrow compete today. Be sure to catch all of the action LIVE on September 8 as Epic Fighting presents “Epic Fighting 14″ on pay-per-view exclusively at GFL.tv.
