Cody Garbrandt echoes Conor McGregor, says T.J. Dillashaw is a ‘little snake in the grass’

As the new king of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight division after knocking off Dominick Cruz at UFC 207, Cody Garbrandt will have a target on his back in 2017. One of the few worthy title challengers with their crosshairs directed at “No Love” is none other than former divisional king T.J. Dillashaw, who used to train alongside Garbrandt at Team Alpha Male. Despite their past relationship, Garbrandt is beginning to see Dillashaw in the same light as Conor McGregor, who predicted some shady stuff not too long ago. The champ had the following to say about Dillashaw insisting he was dodging a title matchup.

Haha no this fool is getting it!! little snake in the grass @TheNotoriousMMA was right about you, #Sellout https://t.co/Ei7MsjOdB3

Wasn’t for saying that, it was challenging us to fight! I’m always down to scrap when invited to one! #LetsBeRealhere https://t.co/z4Cv9nmaER

He said this in the media because we all know the truth in what really went down! He sold out and lied to everyone! #RealTalk https://t.co/PynhhqcFZ9

Dillashaw, who has captured decisive victories over John Lineker and Raphael Assuncao since losing his title to Cruz early last year, now trains as a member of Elevation Fight Team in Colorado. Garbrandt has already called Dillashaw a “cancer” to Team Alpha Male before Dillashaw called “No Love” a liar for claiming he knocked him out in training. This feud is beginning to boil over and may very well come to fruition sooner than later this year, unless Cruz gets his rematch.
