The longtime UFC broadcast duo of Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg will be split up for this Saturday’s UFC 155: Dos Santos vs. Velasquez II event as Goldberg will be taking some time off from his commentating duties with no timetable set for his return.

Stepping into the broadcast booth alongside Rogan will be analyst Jon Anik.

News of the change was announced by MMAjunkie’s John Morgan who learned of Goldberg’s absence from UFC president Dana White.

Since joining the promotion last year, moving over from the ‘MMA Live’ program on ESPN, Anik has provided regular commentary for FX and FUEL TV events. He also hosts the Fuel TV program “Ultimate Insider” which airs on Tuesday nights.

UFC 155: Dos Santos vs. Velasquez II is scheduled for Dec. 28, 2012 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
