At least to me it was a boring fight. Nick Diaz chased Carlos Condit around the octagon for 5 rounds. However, Condit did land plenty of strikes, but never stood still. He didn’t win in the eyes of the fans and he didn’t win in terms of beating up Nick Diaz. Carlos won inside the confines of the rules using savvy. It sucked to watch.

Diaz really couldn’t get his routine going as he was chasing the entire time and Carlos used excellent circling off the cage both ways left and right. Like I said, the fight sucked to watch. The judges must have loved it because it was similar to a boxing match.

The judges had some whacked out scoring. One judge scored the fight 49-46 for Condit which seemed a little outlandish considering Diaz won 1, 2, and 5.

At the post fight interview Diaz claimed he “didn’t need this $hit,” referring to losing the fight on leg kicks and not sure what the judges saw.

Condit was classy the whole time. Gotta respect it, but that fight plan for a fan, sucked.
