Say what you will about Conor McGregor, but you must admit one thing: He’s risen to semi-stardom in the UFC quicker than anyone in recent memory.

The Irish featherweight has just two fights in the UFC—a knockout win over Marcus Brimage in his April debut and last week’s decision win over Max Holloway at Fight Night 26—but already he’s developing quite a name and following. For an example, just witness his walkout at Fight Night 26, with the lights turned off and the cameras slowly following McGregor from deep in the backstage area all the way to the Octagon. It’s the kind of treatment typically reserved for main event competitors; McGregor was on the preliminary card.

After suffering a minor knee injury during the win over Holloway, McGregor’s immediate future is uncertain. According to a tweet he sent last night (or today; I can never quite figure out the time difference between any part of Europe and Texas), McGregor will get that knee checked out today, and he’s hoping for a decent result:

Thinking about fighting in Manchester—that’s the Oct. 26 card headlined by Michael Bisping vs. Mark Munoz—apparently got McGregor all hot and bothered, and he proceeded to call out nearly every top featherweight on the UFC roster:

One can’t blame McGregor for itching to get back in the cage, especially since he considered the dominant win over Holloway to be a loss. And you can’t really blame him for taking potshots at every other featherweight, either; after all, they’re all potential opponents if McGregor is able to continue his climb up the ladder.
