Conor McGregor and Cole Miller are slated to scrap at UFC Fight Night 46 on July 19 in Dublin, but the feud between these two featherweight combatants has already elevated to a critical level.

Speaking with MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, McGregor and Miller traded verbal jabs, with the brash Irish trash-talker spewing the majority of the hate and vitriol.

When asked by Helwani if Miller should fear for his safety among the hardcore Irish fans in Dublin, McGregor responded with an absolute rocket. McGregor said the fans will be fine and respectful, and then he expressed some sarcastic love toward the lanky 145-pounder

“I kind of love Cole Miller,” McGregor said. “I love him like my bitch. I love him like my bitch, Ariel.”

This zinger came moments after Miller called out McGregor‘s ground game, pointing out that the Irish superstar has been submitted by two relatively unknown opponents in the past.

“What ground game?” Miller said when Helwani asked him what he thought of McGregor‘s ground skills. “He will never, never ever, no matter how long he trains, be as good on the ground as I am right now…”

The back-and-forth banter between these two began after Miller’s UFC Fight Night: Machida vs. Munoz victory over Andy Ogle, when “Magrinho” took the mic post-fight to call out “Colin McGoober.” Since then, call-outs in the division have gone to and from McGregor, but the Irish striker finally has a set opponent in Miller.

Now focused on the task at hand, McGregor told Miller during The MMA Hour exactly what will happen when the cage door closes in Dublin.

“Your mouth got you into trouble, and now you’re going to pay for it,” McGregor said. “I’m going to make you say my name.”

The hilarity and trash-talking doesn’t end there, though. Check out the video above and begin at the 49-minute mark to catch up on everything that went down on Monday’s edition of the show.
