Conor McGregor faced the toughest opponent of his career at UFC 205 and posted what may have been his most dominant win to date. Opposite now-former lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez, McGregor landed his left hand at will and realized his dream of capturing two UFC titles. 

It’s an amazing achievement, but the two-division UFC champ has offended a lot of people along the way. He has insulted a number of past, present and prospective opponents over his three years in the UFC, and McGregor had a message for all of those folks during his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan.

Yes, McGregor followed up his historic win with a swipe at the entire sport. 

While it’s a moment that will undoubtedly rub plenty of fans the wrong way, it’s yet another iconic moment from one of combat sports’ most deservedly cocky fighters.

The future is uncertain for McGregor, with a number of tough opponents climbing over one another for the chance to face him. Right now, though? He’s king of the world.
