Earlier today, Conor McGregor announced that he was retiring from the sport of mixed martial arts. While, we still do not know if this is true or not, Dana White has confirmed that McGregor is out of UFC 200.

According to MMA Fighting, McGregor would not attend a press conference leading up to UFC 200 which lead to McGregor’s outing at UFC 200. Dana White announced the news to ESPN on Sportscenter.

“Obviously we still have a good relationship with Conor,” Dana White said. “I respect Conor as a fighter and I like him as a person. But you can’t decide to not show up to these things.”

With the McGregor/Diaz rematch off, UFC 200 is without a main event but still features Aldo vs. Edgar 2 and Tate vs. Nunes.
