Jared Cannonier knocked down the door to a potential middleweight title shot earlier today (Sat., Sept. 28, 2019) at UFC Fight Night 160 live on ESPN+ from inside Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark, when he battered surging contender Jack Hermansson via second-round TKO in the main event (see it HERE).

In addition to the middleweight headliner, former Olympic wrestler Mark Madsen made good on his anticipated Octagon debut with an easy TKO win, light heavyweight finisher Ion Cutelaba demolished striker Khalil Rountree in the first round, former 205-pound title challenger Ovince Saint Preux scored yet another Von Flue choke finish, middleweight powerhouse John Phillips ended Alen Amedovski with a 17-second knockout, and Jack Shore sparked the “Prelims” card off with a late submission win over bantamweight counterpart Nohelin Hernandez.
