That didn’t last long.

Dan Henderson has already made his first comments about a potential “out-of-retirement” fight that has his interest.

In a new blog written by the MMA legend at Champions.co, Henderson claims that for the right money, he could be talked into taking a rubber-match against UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping.

“It’s been a pretty mellow week since UFC 204, but I still haven’t reconciled myself with the scoring the judges put forth for my fight with Michael Bisping,” said Hendo.

As the former two-division PRIDE Champion continued, he admitted that he is “pretty pissed” about the scoring of his rematch with Bisping, which Hendo lost via narrow judges decision in “The Count’s” hometown of Manchester, England at UFC 204.

“I finally got around to watching the video of it last night, and I’ll admit, I’m pretty pissed about it,” Henderson wrote. “I was going to say frustrated, but that doesn’t quite cover the range of feelings I’ve got right now. If this fight had happened last year, and I hadn’t decided to make it my retirement fight, the fans would have demanded a trilogy.”

It was at this point that Hendo admitted that he could be talked into coming out of retirement already for a potential trilogy bout / rubber-match against the reigning UFC 185-pound champion.

“Hell, I’m pretty pissed off right now, and for the right money, I’m pretty sure I could be talked into the rubber match,” Hendo wrote. “Not that I think he would accept another invitation to get beat up again. At the same time, I’m content with what I’ve done and in knowing, if only in my heart, that I won that fight.”
