Attention UFC fans and admirers of beautiful women: Grab onto your seats because some great news has just been announced that will make you very, very happy.

According to UFC President Dana White, former ring girl Brittney Palmer will be making her return to the organization. The exact date has not been set, but it appears to be a done deal.

Earlier tonight, White made use of his nearly 1.7 million Twitter followers in an effort to gauge fans’ response regarding the possibility of the beautiful former ring girl returning to the UFC.

As expected, the responses from fans on Twitter were a resounding “Yes.” Moments later, White Tweeted what so many people had been hoping to hear about ever since Palmer left the company to pursue her other ambitions earlier in 2011.

Despite Palmer leaving the organization, White told Heavy.com’s Megan Olivi that the UFC and Palmer were not at odds and that they actually still had a great relationship.

“[Palmer] is living in L.A. now, she wants to be an artist. She’s going to art school and she has a great relationship with us,” he explained. “She’s still doing stuff with us but it gets so crazy because this is one of those sports where the fans are into everything and I have no problem talking about anything.”

Still, as the months rolled by, it began to look like there was a possibility that we would never see her smile at a UFC function again. Bleacher Report Featured Columnists Tim McTiernan and Matt Juul, along with many others, were heartbroken.

There has been no official announcement made regarding when she will return to the cage, but with the UFC on FOX: Velasquez vs. dos Santos fight card this weekend and UFC 139: Shogun vs. Henderson the following weekend, fans may be seeing her again much sooner than they had originally anticipated.
