The relationship between Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber appears to have escalated, and tensions will more than likely continue to rise as their title bout at UFC 132 draws closer.
The two competitors share a history with each other, as Faber holds a victory over the UFC bantamweight champion from a previous bout at WEC 26. Add in the dislike the two men already hold for one another, and fans are going to be interested in the entire storyline altogether.
In a recent trailer promoting an upcoming video blog of Cruz, courtesy of YouTube, the champion discusses his opponent and explains that his overall experience will be the difference in his matchup against “The California Kid.”
Cruz simply says his skills are superior to his opponent.
“I understand what it takes to be here, I know I belong here,” Cruz said.
“And now I’m better than him,” he added.
UFC 132 takes place on July 2nd, live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena from Las Vegas, Nevada.
