Alistair Overeem on winning the DREAM heavyweight title and defeating Todd Duffee.

“When I was in the ring, everything goes automatic. Of course you know a little of what your doing, so you prepare a little bit. It goes really fast (the fight) so I didn’t know what it looked like but I saw it on tape. I was very pleased and it was a very effective fight, very effective knee strike and my knees are hard. Nobody can take one of my knee strikes, not in K-1 and also not in MMA.”

A disappointed Josh Thomson talks about his loss to Tatsuya Kawajiri.

“I felt like I could have done better, I felt like I could have kept my distance and added more striking. The game plan was to keep it on the outside and for some reason, I don’t know why, but I wasn’t doing that.”

“I’m extremely disappointed and I’m a much more talented fighter than I got to show. Not to take anything away from Overeem, I think he’s an incredible, incredible fighter. I was just disappointed, I wanted to come out and put on a great show, an exciting show for the fans. Obviously I wasn’t prepared, I think I trained seven days for this fight and I think it definitely showed.”
