Yes, you read that right.

Jake Paul took on Nate Robinson recently, which helped the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. event become one of the most successful pay-per-views of the year. Now his older brother will step into what could be an even bigger boxing event.

As announced by both parties, YouTuber and part-time boxer Logan Paul will face retired boxing legend Floyd Mayweather on February 20, 2021.

The pay-per-view will be hosted by FanMio, with the company already announcing the price plans to encourage fans to purchase early. They also seem to expect this to sell extremely well, with the way they’ve set up their early bird prices:

$24.99 for the first one million pay-per-views sold
$39.99 after one million pay-per-views sold
$59.99 for purchases from December 29
$69.99 for purchases from February 11
$54.99 PPV ticket plus t-shirt

Mayweather and Paul talked a bit of smack prior to the Jake Paul vs Nate Robinson contest, with both already expressing interest in a boxing match. It didn’t take long before the bout was made official.

Mayweather, who is turning 44 four days after this contest, retired (again) after becoming 50-0 and capping his hall-of-fame career against Conor McGregor in 2017. He returned for an exhibition bout at the end of 2018, knocking out a much smaller Japanese kickboxing star in Tenshin Nasukawa.

Logan Paul will be a lot younger and bigger — at 6’2, 200 lbs — but he obviously will also be far less skilled. The 25-year-old is currently winless at 0-1 in his pro boxing career, after losing a decision to fellow YouTuber KSI in 2019.

Logan doesn’t seem to be as good a boxer as his brother Jake, but he is more popular and will draw more eyeballs, which is what really matters for “Money” Mayweather in all of this.
