Former UFC lightweight champ Frankie Edgar had stepped in to replace Erik Koch at UFC 153 in a featherweight title fight with division champ Jose Aldo, but an injury to the Brazilian forced him off the card. The bout was to have been Edgar’s first fight at 145-lbs. In this interview with Edgar from a few weeks ago at the Mr. Olympia convention, Edgar is still hoping that he’ll get a chance to fight Aldo, his hopes to step inside the Octagon again, the upcoming lightweight title fight between Benson Henderson vs. Nate Diaz, plus more.
