Frankie Edgar’s UFC 200 Mission: “Search And Destroy”

Frankie Edgar wanted Conor McGregor for the UFC featherweight title at UFC 200 this July.

The former lightweight champion will settle for an interim title match with Jose Aldo on the Las Vegas card.

Previously, Edgar lost via decision to Aldo when the Brazilian held the belt. Aldo was bested this past December by McGregor, who will headline the card vs. Nate Diaz at welterweight.

For “The Answer,” he laid out his plans on July 7 on social media Wednesday night:

Mission Search and Destroy July 9th UFC 200. Don't matter who it is. I'm coming!! #IronArmy #Fe
