Adding to the mix was Alex Oliveira’s co-main event submission win over former UFC titleholder Carlos Condit, Antonio Carlos Junior’s perfected rear-naked choke finish over veteran Tim Boetsch, Muslim Salikhov’s brutal stoppage of UFC newcomer Ricky Rainey, Brad Tavares’ first Octagon finish since 2011, Gilbert Burns’ one-punch knockout of outmatched lightweight Dan Moret, and Adam Wieczorek’s historic omoplata win over heavyweight prospect Arjan Bhullar.
