Gray Maynard will welcome Alexander Yakovlev to the lightweight division at UFC Fight Night 63 on April 4 in Fairfax, Va., according to UFC officials Monday afternoon.
Maynard (11-4-1, 1 no-contest) has lost three straight fights, and four of his past five. He was knocked out in the second round by Ross Pearson in is last outing at UFC Fight Night 47 this past August.
Yakovlev (21-6-1) lost his last two UFC fights at welterweight. He lost to Nico Musoke and Demian Maia via unanimous decision.
Chad Mendes will square off against Ricardo Lamas in the main event.
