Hacran Dias has new opponent for UFC Fight Night 70
Six days after announcing his next fight, Hacran Dias has a new opponent.
The Nova Uniao fighter, who announced a featherweight bout with Chas Skelly last Tuesday, is now scheduled to meet Levan Makashvili at UFC Fight Night 70 in Hollywood, Fla., with Skelly out due to illness. The UFC announced the change on Monday.
Dias (22-3-1), who dropped his past couple UFC bouts via decision, losing to Nik Lentz and Ricardo Lamas, returned to the win column in December with a unanimous decision victory over Darren Elkins.
Makashvili (7-1), a former Cage Fury FC featherweight champion, defeated Mark Eddiva via split decision in his promotional debut on May 16.
UFC Fight Night 70 takes place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on June 27, featuring Lyoto Machida vs. Yoel Romero in the main event. The card will also feature TUF: Brazil 4 bantamweight and lightweight finals.
