On Thursday, news broke that one-time UFC fighter Soa ‘The Hulk’ Palelei (18-3) would be returning to the Octagon this summer taking on promotion newcomer Nikita ‘The Al Capone’ Krylov (14-0) at UFC 164.

Officials with the Australian department of the promotion Tweeted (@UFC_Australia) the update.

UFC 164 is expected to take place on August 31, 2013 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Palelei made his one UFC appearance back in December 2007, losing via third round TKO to Eddie Sanchez as part of UFC 79. Following that loss, ‘The Hulk’ would go 10-1 finishing each opponent in all ten of his victories by (T)KO or submission. The one loss was to Daniel Cormier back in December 2010. His most recent win came this past December at an Australian Fighting Championship event by stopping former UFC fighter Sean McCorkle.

Kylov remains undefeated in fourteen pro fights, all finishes with five (T)KO’s and nine submissions. Another remarkable statistic for ‘The Al Capone’ is that he’s stopped all of these opponents in the first round. The Ukraine heavyweight had his last bout just last month at an M-1 Challenge 38 event, stopping opponent Gabriel Tampu by first round TKO.
