Mike Tyson didn’t find the finish against Roy Jones Jr. last night (Sat., Nov. 28, 2020) live on FITE PPV from inside Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif., but the former heavyweight champion of the world still looked dangerous at 54 years of age.

Tyson dictated this fight from the opening bell. He was able to get inside and land heavy punches to the body. Jones tried to keep his distance on the outer edges and use his lead jab, but Tyson walked through it and started to land up top.

Jones let his hands go a little more in the mid-to-late rounds, but his gas tank was nearly depleted from Tyson’s body work. Tyson kept pushing forward and commanded nearly every second of the final frames. A few of the “judges” handed some rounds to Jones and the exhibition bout was inexplicably ruled a draw.

That said, Tyson won this fight from the first to the eighth. He was too strong and too consistent to the body for Jones to keep his own output up. Check out the highlights below and judge for yourself:
