Derrick Lewis nearly disrobed after securing a third-round knockout win over Rodrigo Nascimento last night (Sat., May 11, 2024) at UFC St. Louis live on ESPN from inside Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Luckily, “Black Beast” only took off his shorts and cup before mooning the crowd.

Lewis was the betting favorite entering this fight, but it was still a dangerous matchup. Nascimento proved to be good in the early going in the clinch and when he was able to take Lewis down and gain top control, but “Black Beast” kept fighting. Lewis even mixed in some of his own takedown attempts when he wasn’t trying to take Nascimento’s head off on the feet.

In the third round, Lewis took over. He was able to land a huge right hand that caught Nascimento on the head. He wobbled to the canvas and “Black Beast” charged on top for heavy punches. Nascimento didn’t last long before Lewis was teeing off at will. The referee probably should have stopped it sooner than he did, but it was still a tremendous TKO performance for Lewis.

After his knockout, “Black Beast” decided to take his shorts off (again) and fan off Nascimento as officials tended to him inside the cage. A few moments later, Lewis removed his cup and tossed it into media row. Finally, he nearly took his shorts off in the middle of the Octagon, but only made it half way as he mooned the first few rows of fans.
