A back injury has forced former Strikeforce lightweight Isaac Vallie-Flagg (14-3-1) out of next months UFC 161: Evans vs. Henderson event.

Stepping in on two-weeks notice will be Octagon newcomer James Krause (19-4), who now meets Canadian fighter Sam ‘Hands of Stone’ Stout (20-8-1) as part of the FX prelims.

News of the change was announced this afternoon by the Canadian office of the Ultimate Fighting Championship via Twitter (@UFC_CA).

UFC 161: Evans vs. Henderson is scheduled to take place on June 15, 2013 at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Stout is 4-2 in his last six matches and is 1-1 in his last two bouts. The Canadian fighter picked up a split decision over Caros Fodor last February at UFC 157, while losing a decision to John Makdessi last November at UFC 154.

Krause enters the UFC riding a seven fight win streak picking up two KO finishes, three submissions and two decisions in that run. His most recent match took place last January at a Resurrection Fighting Alliance show where Krause earned a decision against Toby Imada. Krause made two appearances with the WEC, losing both matches against Ricardo Lamas and Donald Cerrone.
