One of the best kickboxers in the world was put out cold.

Hisaki Kato, an unheralded Japanese karate fighter, crushed Joe Schilling with a one-punch knockout at 34 seconds of the second round Friday night at Bellator 139 in Mulvane, Kan. Schilling was unconscious before he hit the ground and Kato finished with another punch on the canvas.

Kato (5-1) was a +450 underdog in his Bellator debut. Schilling (2-5) has now lost two straight in Bellator after knocking out Melvin Manhoef last November.
