Jon Jones Defending More Than His Title On April 21st

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon ‘Bones’ Jones tells Sherdog.com that he will defending more than his title once he and challenger Rashad Evans step into the Octagon on April 21 in Atlanta, Georgia. Jones says he is also defending the honor of his team against former a former teammate.

“I kind of feel like I’m defending kind of like the honor of this team. Rashad’s (Evans) been badmouthing this team and really calling our team…cliche and commercial and just really badmouthing Greg (Jackson) and our program’s loyalty and everything like that. I think he kind of has it all twisted in his own head, feeling as if people betrayed him. And, really, this is a family here and it’s the same program that it’s always been.”
