A welterweight clash between UFC sophomore Keith ‘The Polish Connection’ Wisniewski (28-13-1) and newcomer Chris ‘The Menace’ Clements (10-4) has been reported for the upcoming UFC 145 event in Montreal.

A couple of different sites confirmed the news today, including MMAWeekly.com who spoke to a source close to the fight.

UFC 145 is expected to take place on March 24, 2012 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec and already has six confirmed bouts for the card but no headliner.

Wisniewski is in his second separate appearance with the UFC, taking his first fight back in 2005 at UFC 56 and then his second appearance, his most recent fight, a fight at UFC on Versus 6. At the UFC Live event, ‘The Polish Connection’ squared off against Josh Neer on the undercard. losing via second round TKO (doctor stoppage). The loss was Wisniewski’s first in seven fights after winning six straight.

Clements hails from Canada and is a former student of Shawn Tompkins and is currently on a run of four straight wins. His most recent bout took place in December at a Score Fighting Series event which saw him defeat former UFC vet Rich Clementi by third round TKO. ‘The Menace’ has earned all ten of his pro-victories via (T)KO.
