Mixed martial arts icon, Fedor Emelianenko (34-4) earned the last victory of his career after finishing former UFC and Pride veteran Pedro Rizzo by knockout in the main event of M-1 Global: Fedor vs. Rizzo.
Emelianenko wasted little time by finishing Rizzo in the first with a right hand and following it up with several more strikes on the ground for a finish at 1:24.
Sometime shortly after the event ‘The Last Emperor’ announced his retirement from the sport to spend more time with his family (via LowKick’s Anton Gurevich).

The event went down today at the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia.
