The Ultimate Fighter alumnus Matthew Riddle is once again spitting fire at his former boss, UFC President Dana White, this time lobbing some heavy accusations his way.
Riddle went off on White again in a recent interview with Bloody Elbow:
“Unfortunately, we have a very insecure, bald man who uses TRT as the president of the UFC. When he sees a dude like me, who is 28 and all I do is rip tubes and kick ass, maybe some part of him doesn’t like me. I don’t know why, I’ve never been mean to him. But he felt the need to go on Fox Sports or whatever and bash me and talk garbage. I think that’s his way of defending himself because he knows he’s wrong, and I know I’m right.”
White dismissed criticism of Riddle back in September, noting that he made a lot more money with the promotion than he was leading on and that he couldn’t pass a drug test, per FOX Sports.
The 28-year-old grappler has fought all 12 of his professional bouts inside the Octagon and has not competed inside the cage since being released by the UFC about one year ago.
Riddle currently boasts a 7-3(2) record but would be riding a four-fight win streak if he did not fail post-fight drug tests for marijuana in July 2012 and February 2013.
As a result, his victories over Chris Clements and Che Mills were overturned to a no contest.
After his release from the UFC, Riddle signed a contract with Legacy Fighting Championships, though that deal was bought out by Bellator in May, per MMA Junkie.
However, injuries and disagreements behind the scenes eventually led to Riddle being let go by Bellator in November without ever competing for the organization, per MMA Weekly.
According to MMA Fighting, Riddle is set to throw down again against Michael Kupier in the co-main event of Titan Fighting Championship 27 Friday night.
There has been no love lost between Riddle and White since he was cut loose by the world’s premiere mixed martial arts organization, as the Throwdown Training Center fighter called White a “juice monkey” in an interview with Stephanie Joplin Sports back in March.
