Anthony Joshua was knocked out by a late replacement in Anthony Ruiz, in what was one of the biggest upsets in boxing as of late. Conor McGregor knows a thing or two about being in a situation like that, and the UFC star took to twitter to react to the high profile heavyweight boxing match.

“I know first hand the toughness of the Mexican chin,” McGregor wrote on twitter, referencing his bout with Nate Diaz. “They come up off the floor like something out of thriller. It is never over until it’s over with the Mexicans. God bless them. Congrats Andy Ruiz.”

Joshua was dropped multiple times, and was eventually finished in the 7th round of their boxing match. As Joshua lost his debut in the United States, Ruiz now takes home the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles. You can watch video of the incredibly shocking upset here.
