MFC 29The top Canadian mixed martial arts promotion, Maximum Fighting Championship, holds it’s latest event tonight at The Colosseum at Caesars in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

MFC 29: Conquer kicks off with it’s live broadcast tonight at 10PM EST (7PM PST) on HDNet with a six fight main card that features a welterweight and light heavyweight title matches.

MFC welterweight champion Douglas Lima defends his title for the first time against challenger Terry Martin, while light heavyweight Ryan Jimmo meets Zak Cummings in his first title defense. UFC veterans Hermes Franca and Marcus “The Irish Hand Grenade” Davis also make their MFC debuts tonight.

Preliminary action is already underway with BloodyElbow.com writer Duane Finley providing live round-by-round coverage of the action. Finley noted that the 5000 seat venue was filled up for the prelim action.
