The UFC is taking a quick break before unleashing all sorts of MMA events this month, but it was quite a busy weekend all over the MMA world.

Promotions such as BAMMA, KSW and Bellator still put on great shows. There were many notables fighting on these cards, looking to make moves in the MMA rankings.

Bellator 82 played host to the welterweight tournament finale. Russian prospect Andrey Koreshkov defeated former Bellator champion Lyman Good to earn a title shot at the winner of Ben Askren-Karl Amoussou, while keeping his undefeated record.

Also on that card, Alexander Sarnavskiy rebounded from his first career loss with a unanimous nod over Tony Hervey.

Other winners on the card included WEC veteran Doug Marshall, Bellator tournament veteran David Rickels, Giva Santana and Shawn Bunch (pro debut).

RFA 5 saw a featherweight title fight in the headliner between Ultimate Fighter alum Jordan Rinaldi and Jared Downing. Downing would outwork Rinaldi to a unanimous decision.

Also on that card, TUF alum James Krause used a guillotine choke to put away UFC veteran Joe Jordan in the co-main event.

URCC 22 took place in the Philippines and saw a couple One FC fighters compete on the card. Eduard Folayang suffered a setback via doctor”s stoppage against Lowen Tynanes, while Eric Kelly used an armbar to put away Brad Terrey.

BAMMA 11 in the UK put on a great card as usual with European talent. The main attraction saw Xavier Foupa-Pokam earn a split decision win over Jack Marshman in what was a fantastic fight.

Also on that card, Alex Reid made a successful return to MMA with a unanimous nod over Sam Boo.

KSW XXI may have had the best card of the weekend in terms of talent and delivery. UFC veterans Matt Horwich and Terry Martin kicked off the card, with Horwich earning a TKO victory over Martin.

Another UFC veteran, Maciej Jewtuszko, tapped out Artur Sowinski with a d’arce choke to continue his post-UFC success. That win erased the memory of Sowinski knocking him out a couple fights ago.

Polish prospect Michal Materla cleanly knocked out UFC veteran Rodney Wallace in 21 seconds in the co-main event.

In the main event of KSW, Poland’s greatest MMA fighter Mamed Khalidov tapped out UFC veteran Kendall Grove with an Achilles lock. He needs to go to the UFC immediately, as he has beat a ton of UFC veterans as of late.

Quick Results:

Alex Garcia headlined the SLAMM card, beating Stephane Lamarche with a rear-naked choke.

Pancrase Progress Tour 14 saw notable female fighter Rin Nakai defeat Danielle West via unanimous decision.

Vision FC 5 saw Artemij Sitenkov face a setback in the main event, falling to a body punch and follow up punches to David Haggstrom.

TUF alum Martin Stapleton won the Cage Contender Fight Stars tournament against another TUF alum in Tommy Maguire. Stapleton defeated Arnold Quero and Jaime Rogers to get to the one-night tournament finals, while Maguire had to beat Uche Ihiekwe and Chris Stringer to get to the finals.
