Nate Diaz is still looking for his next fight, but first he will reportedly have to resolve payments from a previous bout.

According to TMZ, Diaz’s former agents, the Ballengee Group, filed a lawsuit against the UFC star worth more than $1 million in damages. They claim they weren’t paid their portion from the UFC 202 fight against Conor McGregor.

The agents reportedly negotiated the fight deal for UFC 202, as they have for other notable bouts for Diaz, but were “unexpectedly” fired and allege they did not receive fair compensation.

Diaz hasn’t competed since the August 2016 matchup against McGregor, which resulted in a loss by decision after five rounds. This was a rematch after the California native earned a knockout win in their first battle.

While there has been speculation about a third bout between Diaz and McGregor, the latter will first fight Floyd Mayweather in a highly anticipated boxing match on Aug. 26.

Boxing star Adrien Broner recently discussed a potential bout against Diaz on the same night, presumably in boxing. Diaz has never competed professionally as a boxer but is 20-11 in his MMA career.
