In a new video interview, former UFC title contender Nick Diaz shared his unfiltered thoughts on reigning UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor.

“He’s not [great], though,” said Diaz, brother of UFC star Nate Diaz, who went 1-1 in two fights with “The Notorious” one.. “On paper, he’s not. Who are the 145-pound fighters who he beat up? Nobody good, in my opinion.”

Diaz elaborated on his opinion, claiming McGregor was the product of a lot of advertising and claims he hasn’t competed against or beaten the best of the best in any capacity.

“Just a lot of commercials and advertising,” said Diaz. “How many black-belts has he tapped out? When he was talking shit back-and-forth about fighting Floyd Mayweather … like, you have already lost to two guys who are not on a legitimate level.”

From there, Diaz made some comments that are sure to make him Ireland’s enemy number one, and would certainly make for a good future high-profile opponent for McGregor.

“That just tells me, look, you ain’t ever going to be the best,” said Diaz. “You already lost to two fucking guineas. I ain’t ever losing to somebody who lost to some fucking little Irish land guineas. That’s fact, that’s on paper. And on gym, you can see what kind of work he has put in. He ain’t working with nobody — he ain’t working with no black belts. Has no legitimate trainer.”
