Nick Diaz has done it again.
The UFC held a media conference call for UFC 137: Penn vs. Diaz this afternoon at 2:00 p.m. ET.
The media call was set to consist of BJ Penn, Nick Diaz, Cheick Kongo and Matt Mitrione.
When the media call went underway, Diaz was not present.
When asked if Diaz would be present at some point throughout the conference, UFC correspondents responded:
“We’re not sure, we are in the process of locating Diaz now.”
Surprise, surprise, surprise.
About 45 minutes after the media call began, Diaz showed up and was immediately asked why he was late.
Diaz responded, stating:
“I had no idea about a call. No one called me this week or told me anything.”
While no one knows the real reason why Diaz was late for the media call, UFC fans won’t find this news surprising at all.
Will this be the last straw for Nick Diaz?
