ONE Championship returned to China on Saturday, and Timofey Nastyukhin scored another finished in the main event.
The Russian prospect, who stopped Eduard Folayang in one round of his promotional debut in December, finished Yusuke Kawanago in the opening round at the Guangzhou International Sports Arena in Guangzhou, China, improving to 9-1 as a mixed martial artist.
ONE Championship 28 also featured a pair of one-night tournaments. In the 145-pound division, Huang Di Yuan stopped Tian Jian She at the end of the first round to advance to the finals, where he defeated Ma Jia Wen via unanimous decision. In the flyweight division, Wu Ze scored a second-round submission over Wu Hui Qiang before winning the tournament with a split decision over Yang Jian Bing.
A pair of Brazilian grapplers were also victorious on the card. Zorobabel Moreira, a former lightweight title challenger, stopped Christian Holley in 14 seconds, while Marcos Santana tapped Ruel Catalan in his MMA debut.
