Bones were broken last night (Fri., June 1, 2018) at UFC Fight Night 131 from inside Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, N.Y., as heavyweight knockout artist Walt Harris injured his foot in a second-round TKO win over Daniel Spitz, who walked away with a broken arm.

Harris, who captured his fourth UFC finish in as many wins, had to be taken to the hospital following the victory due to an apparent broken foot sustained in the first round. He took to Instagram to showcase his ambulance ride and thank is supportive fans.

“We got it done baby! 2nd round KO! Bad news is I think I broke my foot in the first round! Thanks you all for your love and support it means the world to me!” wrote Harris.

Spitz, 27, was finished for the first time in his mixed martial arts (MMA) career. But considering “Daddy Long Legs” broke his arm in the first 30 seconds of the fight, his performance commands a little more respect. Spitz provided X-ray proof of his injury in a post-fight Instagram post.

“First, I’d like to give respect to my opponent @thebigticket205. You were the better man tonight. I broke my arm in the first 30 seconds of the fight and I’m disappointed with the outcome, but grateful for the opportunity. Thank you to everyone that helped me along the way with this camp,” wrote Spitz.

I guess heavyweights really do hit hard.
