There were a lot of sights to behold in the world of MMA over the last week. Joanna Jedrzejczyk crying after gutting out a decision win over Claudia Gadelha. The elation of Eddie Alvarez after graduating from “The Underground King” to “UFC Lightweight King.” Former WWE and UFC world heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar towering over Mark Hunt at Friday’s weigh-ins.

That is a photo of UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor staring daggers into the cage as Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar face off at UFC 200. Aldo and Edgar fought for the interim featherweight title during the event, with the winner being all but guaranteed a shot at McGregor in early 2017. Clearly, that was more than enough to peak McGregor’s interest.

Aldo went on to win the fight via unanimous decision and once again gets to wear UFC gold. It will be fun to see if McGregor vs. Aldo 2 comes to fruition and, if it does, how the two talented fighters match up in a fight that lasts longer than 13 seconds.
