Fox Sports 1 will debut on August 17, and the UFC will be a big part of its kickoff.
After the Saturday launch, UFC on Fox Sports 1 events will move to Wednesday. Two events have already been announced for August 28 and September 4 in Indianapolis and Brasila, Brazil, respectively.
This won’t be the first time the UFC has put on midweek events, but it will be a departure from what we have grown accustomed to in recent times. It appears that the UFC will play a significant role in the early programming of the network.
Fox Sports 1 will replace the Speed channel.
As with any change, it will have both its pros and cons, and here they are.
