This is UFC 241 in a few short tweets.

UFC 241 is in the books, and it saw the top three fights on the card deliver with some entertaining back and forth exchanges. Stipe Miocic came back from likely losing on the judges scorecards to TKO Daniel Cormier and regain his heavyweight title. Nate Diaz impressed on his return from layoff, and both Yoel Romero and Paulo Costa slugged it out for 15 mins.

BRUNSON DECISIONS HEINISCH

PROS: Brunson fought more controlled and a lot smarter than normal. He picked his spots on the feet, and mixed up his wrestling properly.

CONS: It’s not the type of fight I really enjoy, but to each his own.

PROS: Yusuff’s MMA boxing looks good. That was a nice counter to get the knockdown and finish. He got a quality win on the main card of a relatively big UFC event.

CONS: None really.

PROS: Well that lived up to the hype. They traded hard shots for 15 mins and they hurt each other multiple times. Give them a bonus.

PROS: What a comeback! Down 3 rounds, Stipe worked the body, eventually landed big up top to regain his belt. I want a trilogy.

CONS: DC didn’t fight smart last 2 rounds. He stopped varying his attack, and just stood there without respect for Stipe’s hands

#UFC241 OVERALL:

PROS: How many bonuses can they give? Because the last 3 bouts delivered! Costa should earn the next MW shot. Diaz vs Masvidal SHOULD happen too.

CONS: Herb stopped that late. There were slow bouts early, but the key bouts made up for it. Pls don’t retire, DC.
