According to Jeremy Botter of FloCombat.com, former UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman has pulled out of next month’s UFC 199 main event.

Botter reported that Weidman pulled out of his scheduled rematch against Luke Rockhold for the UFC Middleweight Title at UFC 199 after he suffered an undisclosed injury that would prevent him from being able to fight on 6/4.

As things stand right now, UFC has yet to confirm that Weidman is out of the bout and there are no rumors regarding whether or not Rockhold will remain on the card.

Scheduled for June 4, 2016 at The Forum in Inglewood, California, UFC 199 also features Dominick Cruz vs. Urijah Faber for the UFC Bantamweight Title and the Octagon return of UFC Hall Of Famer BJ Penn, as he takes on Cole Miller.
