Although former longtime 170-pound king Georges St-Pierre recently announced that he wants to make a return to the Octagon pending a deal being reached with UFC management, the current 170-pound king doesn’t think it’s going to happen.

Reigning UFC Welterweight Champion Robbie Lawler, who defends his title against Tyron Woodley at UFC 201 in Atlanta on July 30, was asked if he heard about the rumors of GSP returning to the fight game, and if the UFC had said anything to him about a potential fight with the former champion.

“Nope,” said Lawler. “They never asked me.” Lawler added, “I don’t think he’s coming back.”

Quick, and to the point.

For the record, UFC President Dana White doesn’t think GSP is returning either.
