Ronda Rousey, the undefeated UFC women’s bantamweight champion and one of the brightest stars in MMA, may not be long for the sport.

In an interview with MMAJunkie.com’s John Morgan published Thursday, she said her days as a professional fighter may be numbered.

“I said from the beginning that I wok [sic] in quadrennials,” Rousey said in the interview. “I do four-year cycles. I think I’ve got two years left in me, realistically, if I’m going to do this like an Olympic run.”

The quote comes on the heels of the announcement this week, reported by MMA Junkie, that Rousey will be a part of the cast of The Fast and the Furious 7 along side Vin Diesel and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. It was previously announced that Rousey will also be a part of The Expendables 3, alongside Hollywood Hall of Famers like Harrison Ford, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jackie Chan.

Rousey also appears on the cover and in the pages of the September issue of Maxim magazine. In 2012, Rousey posed sans clothing for ESPN The Magazine‘s annual “body issue.”

If Rousey sticks to her Thursday comments, it is entirely feasible that she will pursue a career in show business, following in the footsteps of her predecessor as “The Face of Women’s MMA,” fighter-turned-actress Gina Carano

Rousey will get plenty of camera time this fall, when she will coach opposite arch-rival Miesha Tate on the 18th season of The Ultimate Fighter. The two will then face off on December 28 at UFC 168.

The 26-year-old Rousey (7-0) has never been seriously threatened in her MMA career, winning every contest by first-round armbar, including her one and only UFC fight, a submission of Liz Carmouche. Rousey has also held the Strikeforce women’s bantamweight title and won a bronze medal for judo in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.
