Ronda Rousey returns to the Octagon for the first time in over a year when she takes on Amanda Nunes for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight title on Dec. 30. While UFC 207 has yet to arrive, “Rowdy” is speaking her mind on the never ending trash talk between lightweight champion Conor McGregor, and retired boxing icon Floyd Mayweahter.

Speaking with ESPN The Magazine (via MMAFighting.com), Rousey isn’t too thrilled with “Notorious” and “Money” bragging about how much revenue they generate.

“If money is the motivation, then f*ck you. All these ‘Money’ people. ‘Money’ [Floyd] Mayweather, ‘Money’ [Conor] McGregor. I see they’re trying to do an angle or whatever. People buy it. The worship of money in our society is so deep. But just because that’s the easiest way to keep people’s attention or entertain them doesn’t mean that’s the right way.”

Rousey has a chance to regain the 135-pound title she lost via brutal knockout courtesy of Holly Holm back at UFC 193. McGregor would end up putting Jose Aldo to sleep at the next pay-per-view to take home the featherweight title.

While “Rowdy” blasted McGregor for his “Money” persona, she admitted that the brash 155-pounder took away a lot of pressure she had to endure from being in the spotlight.

“Conor gave me the chance to rest, he took the weight off my shoulders, and I’m grateful. I will never put my body at risk for money and views ever again. What makes me happy is winning and being the best in the world and that’s it. F*ck all the promotion and energy spent on anything that’s not me winning. And anyone who tries to tell me I owe them energy on frivolous sh*t during camp out of ‘loyalty’ or ‘friendship’ deserves no loyalty from me and is no friend of mine.”
