Former UFC champion Ronda Rousey has inked a three-movie deal with Lifetime network, according to a report by Deadline.

Rousey, who has appeared in a handful of films, joins the likes of tennis icon Serena Williams and music legend Janet Jackson for a series of upcoming movies as the network moves away from melodramas.

The movies with Rousey will bring stories that reflect her passions about empowerment to the screen, according to the network. The 29-year-old has appeared in “The Expendables 3,” “Furious 7” and the “Entourage” film, and is still tied to the lead role in the “Road House” remake. She has also hosted “Saturday Night Live.”

As for her fighting career, Rousey is expected to return to action in the final quarter of the year, likely against the current UFC female bantamweight champion at that time.
