Big Country Roy Nelson put on a courageous losing effort against future title contender Junior dos Santos, and he’s thoroughly convinced that neither the current champion Brock Lesnar nor the number one contender Cain Velasquez would survive a standing war with the Brazilian fighter. Here’s his thoughts, via Fightline:
“I think if any of the two, Brock or Velasquez, try to stand with him, they’ll probably get knocked out.”
Nelson is straight to the point, and he’s probably correct; however it’s hard to believe that either of these two wrestlers will want to keep the fight standing.
