The upcoming Nov. 3rd Strikeforce event cannot buy a break, after losing a heavyweight bout between Daniel Cormier vs. Frank Mir, another injury has forced another big name from the card as Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold (10-1) has been forced off the card.

MMAFighting.com is reporting that Rockhold suffered a wrist injury, cancelling his bout with undefeated fighter Lorenz ‘The Monsoon’ Larkin (13-0, 1NC).

The November 3, 2012 event was expected to take place at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Rockhold has won nine straight, having successfully defended his title for a second straight match with a unanimous decision victory over Tim Kennedy at last July’s ‘Rockhold vs. Kennedy’ event in Oregon.

Strikeforce could book a No. 1 contender match, pitting Larkin versus former title holder in Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza, who is currently without a bout of his own.
