Alex Pereira was already a scary opponent for Jamahal Hill later this evening (Sat., April 13, 2024) at UFC 300 live on ESPN+ PPV from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, but now that the UFC light heavyweight champion has regained nearly 30 pounds ahead of their main event clash he’s downright terrifying.

Pereira and Hill will be asked to headline one of the greatest fight cards ever assembled. Their light heavyweight title fight will serve as the main event of UFC 300, which boasts 12 total current or active champions. It’s undoubtedly one of the biggest profile events in recent memory and a great opportunity for Pereira and Hill to substantially boost their promotional value.

Ahead of tonight’s main event, Pereira has already bulked himself back up following Friday’s official UFC 300 weigh ins (see HERE). Pereira was the last fighter on the scale, but he made the cut down to 205 pounds without issue. Just 24 hours removed from his weight cut and the UFC light heavyweight champion is already back up to 232 pounds. That’s nearly a 30-pound gain in just over 24 hours. Pretty intimidating stuff, especially for Hill as he prepares to outclass “Poatan” for the 205-pound crown.

Check it out below:

Pereira, who will be making his first official light heavyweight title defense tonight at UFC 300, is the slight betting favorite entering his main event throwdown with Hill. Many people believe Pereira’s punching power will be too much for “Sweet Dreams” to handle and with this substantial weight gain they may be right. It will be up to Hill to prove his doubters wrong and pull off the upset.
