When Cat Zingano defeated Miesha Tate on April 13, she punched her ticket to coach the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter. Zingano’s opposing coach on the show will be UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.
The 18th season of the UFC’s reality show will be the first time two female fighters have served as head coaches. In another first, the cast will be made up of both male and female bantamweight fighters, who will live together in the TUF house and fight for UFC contracts.
The show will debut on Fox Sports 1 on September 4 at 10 p.m. ET.
The Ultimate Show was on hand in Las Vegas for the TUF tryouts, speaking to some of the men and women that hoped to make the cut for the show.
